Lethal Company won't launch past game intro
The game opens to the Unity & Zeekers logo, but after it just goes to a block screen then I get the "steam app: ### has stopped wait or close" message.
I attempted to launch through Proton 8.0-4, Proton Experimental and Wine-GE-Proton, all unsuccessful (Wine-GE-Proton being the worst not even getting to the logos) I want to launch the game through steam so I can use r2modman to manage my mods for the game. Any ideas on how to get it working? I can provide logs for any of the proton launches.

this game seems to be only available on Steam, what are you trying to do with heroic? why don't you use Steam directly?

I tried to use steam, reached out on Steam Community, no responses. I figured I would try to sideload with Heroic to see if it would fix anything. But I also came here because you guys seem to know a bit about linux gaming and you would maybe be able to help with the problem.
If this isn't the right place to reach out would there be any other places you could recommend?

I looked through protondb and everyone else on arch launches with no issues, and to those who do I've tried their fixes with no success.
It works for everyone else, but me. Kinda just confused.

I don't think Heroic is going to work better than Steam itself, maybe try running the game in steam enabling logs there instea of Heroic's logs?

it's not the wrong place, it was just not clear to me what you were trying to do with Heroic, but this #🆘-support area is not exclusive for Heroic support
