can't seem to get cloud save for rocket league
Hi all, I can't seem to find any option in the launcher to download the save data from the cloud at all, no mention of it or anything. I have tried to also run legendary separately in the cli to download the data but it doesn't seem to download anything when specified. Can't tell whether it's a heroic issue, legendary or both. Installed using the flatpak

not all games support cloud save, and legendary, and thus heroic, only show you cloud save options for games that have it enabled in their meta data

Would I then have to try use the epic games launcher to get the save data?

it'll be on your disk somewhere (each game is different)
you dont need egs to get it

Yeah was hoping to be able to download the stuff that I had previously when it was installed but might have to do that another way

Doesn't exist sadly, that's why I was hoping it would work with downloading cloud save for it through heroic but shouldn't be too much of a problem

Only if the game had cloud saves
Not all games do cloud saves

RL is server-side. You don’t need to do anything more than loading into the game with your account

Yeah note here I mean specifically epic's or gogs cloud save systems. Those are the only ones heroic can interact with. Games that manage their own saves via logins or something do it internally without any need from heroic

might be some issue ive got ingame then since i have none of my saved customization etc and all my playerstats ingame are non existent
well even when running it from egs its the same with no save data at all, fun
i am quite certain that it had loads of stuff on the account from when i played it on bot pc and xbox but oh well ig
