WLOL, know the feeling. I don't worry and just fly it with normal force feedback. It's centrally mounted also, so really nothing authentic about any of it!
AYup, screw authentic. I need to tune the spring forces and maybe add g dependant forces to make it feel more natural.

SI tried the HF8 when it was released and I didn’t care for it. I found it to be uncomfortable to sit on but I also own the Jetpad from Andre and that one is very comfortable to sit on. The Jetpad is still obtainable but you need to reach out to them via Andre’s website (contact us type link). I wound up returning the HF8 and plan to get a second Jetpad as a spare. The HF8 was also pretty weak with the vibrations when I tried it.(like very weak) and I had everything maxed for settings etc. Maybe they improved that part since release in some way. I had hoped that it would be an equal to the Jetpad so people could have a choice in terms of what to buy but at least for me, it wasn’t very good at the time.
DI never owned the jetpad, but the hf8 is comfortable and the Rumble can be strong, I turned mine down to 20%
HThe HF8 in a warbird will shake your teeth loose. I wouldn't classify it as weak.
BFrom what ive gathered there has been a fair bitnof advancement on the software and or simshaker integration with hf8 since initial release.
BHavent tried the hf8 or sim transducers (yet) but I did have some cheap ones on a recliner for home theater setup.
Was barely a 50watt amp and around the 50% mark it could make the recliner rattle around the floor like an old nokia on a glass table.

DI have a Sony amp hooked up to a transducer puck on my metal rig, works great. My puck setup does not work all that great on my wood rig, a seat based setup would probably work better.

Torque pedals are just nervous and main torque has a tendency to vanish in some cases and suddenly the pull that was to much just drops me out like someones mom jumped on the back of it.

HDCS Apaché has a nasty tendency to settle with power if you don't keep a keen eye on that vertical velocity

64 is amazing with a Rhino. I learnt to hover it perfectly during the holidays. Before, I could barely land the thing bottom down. The manual p. 94 helped a lot too.LF-4E

HI have the same chair, and I made a custom wood base and mounted it to the lower cross bar. Then remove the middle cross bar and center mount.

PRegarding rotary pedal trim discussions -- would it be safe to assume the Ka-50's pedals irl don't auto-center, but simply stay in the position you leave them?
