backing up stable before switching to beta
Hey, If I want to backup in case I want to switch back to stable is it enough to get the folder, or should I backup the registry as well?

Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, so since I just need my commands&sensors the config should be all I need? I have the actual config e.g ha api, mqtt details & client id & etc stored so I don't care about those

Only the config folder is required to be copied over. If you want the exact same history and everything you may need to copy some other stuff but if all you want is the same config just the config folder needs to be backed up.

What do you mean by history? Does hassagent even store any data about the sensors&etc?
or do you mean continuing as the same device in HA?
I don't think so, I'm not the main client Dev but I'm pretty sure it does store some stuff.
Not sensor history data tho no. So for U just copy the config folder
