Sounds while recording, but not when i stream

Hello everyone, happy new year, as the title said, i encounter a very weird issues, on OBS i can see my sounds volume going up and down, normally. when i local record, i also have my audio split up in the correct channel, but when i stream, and i listen to my Twitch VOD i hear nothing, idk if i have 0 sounds or it's very low (for me it's 0, but not 100 sure). My audio work as a scene, i put all of my audio from my GoXLR into it and i put the Audio scene where i need it. I use OBS 30.0.2 atm. Here's some screenshots :

Well you have all of your devices split to separate tracks and you can only send 1 track to a stream. You either need a separate stream profile with everything on one track mixed accordingly, or to use that 6th track youre not using for recording as your Twitch track, and assign all your devices there. you will still need to mix and balance your levels in the mixer, as it seems you’re not currently How are you adding audio devices? As individual sources? You have them all disabled in the last shot Also you have twitch set to go to track 1, which only has 1 device on it, but then the VOD track is on track 6 which has no devices, so even if your viewers got audio while you’re live, your vod would be completely silent I’m really confused why you would have set any of this up this way at all You likely don’t want/need your Spotify music in your recording. If true, then you could add all of your devices to track 5 w/ Spotify, make that your main Twitch track. Then have all devices EXCEPT Spotify in 6 for your VOD track. And then just not record 5/6 Obligatory you can still get DMCA for live music and it’s still dumb to risk, vod track doesn’t protect you, only use music you have licenses to etc But that’s probably the easiest workaround with how weirdly you have things configured now

Hello Addie, thanks for your answer, i understand i can only send 1 track to my stream, that why i decided to send Track 1 wich is my GoXLR Mix (which include all sounds fro my go xlr, it's my broadcast stream mix). Put maybe u are right, i should put everything into 6 and set the 6th track as my Twitch track, i don't understand what you say about mix and balance levels in the mixer, i put them all at 100% and then balance directly with the fader on my go xlr. Yeah i notice about the VOD track, i'm gonna change this right away ! I like to put Spotify into my stream/record so this is not a issue. I don't understand what is weird cuz i worked years with this kind of setup, but imo it's the OBS update who broke thing, but maybe i decided to change something, and don't remember what i change.

Have you checked while live? Because if you're just checking your VODs for audio, they're going to be mute because of the VOD track thing

Yeah i checked during live But i think i understand my issues, i think i'm gonna enabled everything on track 1, and shift everything to +1 track number (so number 1 will become 2) and it may fix my issues and still having my channel split when i record

how are you getting these audio devices to your other scenes? Are you nesting the scene with them on it?

yeah i nested my Audio scene everywhere i need sounds

no obs update affected audio devices like this, so it's a mattering of troubleshooting the config I'd try again w/ the VOD track fix just to be safe Though FWIW if the audio meters in your second screenshot are your average audio levels, that is going to be basically inaudible to the viewer that's very quiet if that's just bg music or w/e that's fine

Oh really ? i don't understand why, it's at 100% so it should be "normal" volume no ? 🤔

look at the actual audio meters, the green bits with whatever is playing, it's only reaching to like -40dB

ah yeah 0 db being the loudest, but i never find how to change that, is that possible ? cuz i would love to send a "lourder" sound without putting gain on everything oh i get it, it's the 100% trick me, for me it's was impossible to go ahead of 100% >< but i'm just stupid, i tested my new setup with my friend and it worked, thx u ❤️
