Durable Jacket or Sweater for chilly warehouse work

I've been wearing Uniqlo fleeces for years, but I'm looking to find something more premium to wear to work for the new year. Something with lots of pockets for pens, box cutters, ect. would be nice. Eying this shop jacket from Randy's Garmets but I don't know much about ripstop fabric https://shoplostfound.com/collections/randys-garments/products/randys-garments-service-jacket-cotton-ripstop-black Any other brands I should be considering?

Why I think they fit the bill: - Looks nice (IMO) - More formal than a hoodie, formal enough (depending on color, material, cut) for lower-end business casual, but not nearly formal enough to turn heads and raise eyebrows in a warehouse - Tons of pockets. Very functional. Everything on these is functional. - Tons of options for materials, color, pattern, etc. Tons of options for warmth too. - Can be worn outside of work just fine as well If you want, you can also go more "mil-surp look" by doing khaki or olive. Even more so if you find one with epaulettes, which aren't super my look. I own both of the ones I linked (sort of, my sashiko one is maybe a bit different, not entirely sure, but it's from the same maker, same style.) I also own a wool herringbone one, also from spier&mackay. I wear them all the time. Tons of pockets. I also own a much older, scratchy rough wool field jacket that I use as an actual literal chore coat, while I am doing home repairs and stuff. Of course, on that note, a chore coat is a great option too. Tons of makers make chore coats. The french style is sort of the original. I prefer the field jacket for several reasons: I like the flapped buttoned pockets, and I like the symmetry of having four pockets over having three + often an outline for a fourth (which looks wrong to my eyes, like it's fake worn out.) Otherwise, a chore coat and field jacket are often cut the same, both makers I linked use the same pattern for both

Ripstop might he too light if the place you work is chilly. I would opt for a blanket lined chore coat probably

For the field Jacket, wouldn't the button flaps on the pockets get in the way of using them frequently? Like the idea of a Spier & Mackay chore coat. Would the Moleskin ones be a good choice? https://www.spierandmackay.com/product/dark-navy-moleskin---chore-coat-8263-chre

I leave the buttons undone and tuck the flaps into the pockets, works great. Engineered garments and sassafras both put hella pockets on their jackets I think lost & found stocks both

In my experience, no. If I am constantly using a pocket I just leave the button undone anyways.
