Unable to start Wither 2 from GOG
Hello, I have installed my first game, but it does not start, output is attahed, thanks.

tried to run just the ommand:

I believe it does not install properly, as it's very quik and I remember it took time when I installed it on Windows bak in the days, thanks a lot for you assistane

It had the same error message, however, I swithed to another wine version and bak and now the launher works, but the game does rash:

Many thanks, works perfet now! Is there any way you ould install those every time? Although wither 2 has linux port, windows game runs muh better. afaik steam proton has quirks per game id, does heroi have something like this? Sorry to read my painful text, my key for letter of alphabet after B is not working

Heroic does not have an automated dependency installation system. it's been discussed, but it would be quite a bit of work to both implement it and maintain it

Disclaimer: I have NOT played almost any of this games for an extended period of time. I only tested that I can open the game, start playing it and move around for a while.,All games are tested with DXVK and VKD3D enabled. No other setting is changed unless specified in the Comments column...

then based on that I created that github repo to automatically install winetricks stuff
for the witcher 2, we have some GOG stuff going on that will install all the redist packages so no winetricks will be needed though
I'll try the witcher 2 during the weekend to update that repo, so we have that working until the GOG refactor is finished
this will be included in the next heroic release under an experimental feature (settings > advanced)

Very cool, thank you for your effort. This should hopefully make less support threads created. I didn't do a great job about the redists before, I thought dx is not needed with dxvk (when I think about it it does not make sense) and the vc redists installers errored with failed to download.
To arielj: I believe it may help people if you put those tests to the faq section. Also you stated you have some gog stuff going on, is it in 2.11? If so, my machine failed to perform this, the exes probably errored download like I stated above.
