Unable to connect GOG Account
So recently I have had trouble connecting to my GOG account, any time I attempt to via the "Manage Accounts" tab it loads and then default back as if I didn't login at all.
My Epic account using Legendary appears to be working fine though, perhaps it's something related to GOG's end?

looks like the gogdl executable is missing, can you check if you have this file?
C:\Users\Rayon\AppData\Local\Programs\heroic\resources\app.asar.unpacked\build\bin\win32\gogdl

Looks like it is! This is what's in the win32 folder:
legendary.exe
nile.exe.
Zero gogdl.exe.
How odd, it was there before.
is there a way to get this executable back or would it be best to redownload heroic all together?

you can download the file from the heroic repo and put it there https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/tree/main/public/bin/win32 (you might need to give it executable permissions in the file's properties)

I imagine what happened is the antivirus flagged gogdl.exe as a virus or something (some antiviruses do that, it's a false positive) and deleted the file
so if it happens again add an exception to your antivirus

Yeah that's most likely what's happened -_- oh well. I'll download the executable and see if it fixes the issue. Thanks for the help so far!

interesting, I've had the same issue just happened. Looks like Windows Defender took a swing at it.

rescanning with https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/blob/main/public/bin/win32/gogdl.exe does not detect anything
