heroic coming in with odd color wash on steam deck after update

After the recent update to heroic it seems to change the color in steam deck OS. It looks fine on the desktop side but color washes everything including games running through heroic. Any idea how to correct this? I removed and added heroic back but it doesn't seem to clear it up. I haven't had any update to the steam deck for several days only had the update today from heroic
