Undertale yellow on steam deck?
i may sound dumb, but im just asking if someone could help me as ive downloaded, put wine, and it just wont launch. Can someone please help?

i downloaded it. now what?
honestly, i think im doingg somthing wrong in the instalation....
it shows up as a zip folder when it should be an excucutabale
I'm no mind reader, you'll have to tell me exactly what you're doing and what's not working
My general steps were:
1. Download game from here, extract the archive (so you end up with a "Undertale Yellow v1_1" folder containing a "Undertale Yellow.exe" file)
2. Click "Add Game" in Heroic, set the name of the game, select Wine-GE as your Wine Version, and set the executable in the folder you just extracted as the game's executable
3. Head to the settings of the game you just added, click "Winetricks". Wait a bit, then search and install
d3dx10 (installing might take a bit)

If you dont mind, how do i 'extract the archive?" im kinda dumb
Uh, with any normal file manager, it should be somewhere in the right-click menu?

i have a folder that now only says undertale yellow v1_1 and no zip.. is that right?
and what i mean by no zip is that it only says "undertale yellow v1_1" the zip folder is still there, but now theres two.
What's inside the new folder?

mus, snd, data.win, options.ini, splash.png, and undertale yellow.exe.

So, when i tried adding the excuctable, i put in Undertale Uellow V1_1, it made me select one file from it, so i selected undertale yellow.exe, and did everythig else, set the version and launched it, it launched, but it just gives me an error about an unexcpected size or something
Right, click "Report a problem running this game" on the game page and send the log file into this channel

Make sure it's somewhere in
/home/deck/Games/Heroic/, then re-select the executable (you can edit that option via the 3-dot menu in the top right of the game page -> "Edit Game/App")continuing-cyanOP•2y ago
