rocket racing is not listed
The title says it all. The game rocket racing is not listed in the game library. How to fix it?

maybe a silly question, but is it in your epic library?

that game is related to fortnite, currently it shows up in fortnite's
launch options selector in fortnite's game detail page

I think epic shows that as an individual game, it's on our side (the game comes up as part of fortnite in the listings so it was included as a launch option)
there's a feature request somwhere in github or in the suggestions to treat those as individual games to avoid confusion

In epic the game shows as an individual game yes. Its pretty dumb that a stand alone game is a launch option of another game. Oh well...

well, I wouldn't call dumb to the developer implementing that
the game does in fact works as a launch option for fornite internally (and then we found out it can also be launched as a standalone DLC), but that didn't get to the release
these "fornite experiences" are something unique in epic games, it's only used by fornite and we are learning
unless you mean that epic is dumb for doing that?

I mean that epic should not have done that. If doing that simplifies the development, sure why not. But epic should have released it as a game and not as a launch option of Fortnite. But than again its a bit irrelevant cause in their launcher this is not an issue and they dont support 3rd party launchers, i get that. It just makes it harder for "us"

my understanding is that they are trying to push those fornite experiences to compete with things like roblox, it's probably a business thing to keep milking the fornite cow

From a gamedev pov it probably saves resources to do it this way. Fortnite probably has all this framework built within it, and by essentially making extra modules that take the framework and do something slightly different than the base game devs dont have to rewrite those systems, base game updates update the modules, and space on disk is smaller because you dont need a whole new game install for each, just its additions
