Hierarchies of Importance - Topic of the day 1/13/24
How do you rank the importance of your outfits components? What makes or breaks an outfit for you?
Is it the jacket? The layers? The pant-shoe-interaction?

i’m a mathematician that knows alot about numbers so let me talk all your ears out about something called the PSI theory
If cold, jackets. If not cold, shoes.
Psi definitely at the top of the pyramid
Outfit made: I’m wearing it
Outfit broken: you’re wearing it
Coat>shoe>pant>shirt
Pant shoe interaction is important but situation-dependent
ngl I don't think I've ever thought about fits this way
I just put shit on
Just put shit on but also the devil of intent is in the details
If you look good ankles up but your psi is crazy I’m gonna focus on that
Bishop a freak fr
I’m the person everyone reassures you doesn’t exist
If you brick near me I remember forever
When I'm really dressin I'll pick something I never wear and build around it
I reject the framework of hierarchies of outfit components. There is only one component that matters and that is the VIBE violently emanating from your fit like a radioactive isotrope.
Yeah but if you have bad psi your vibe is cooked
Bad psi is a magnet for my eyes i will ignore the whole rest of the fit
Socks and undies of course… wearing a thrashed pair will impact your esteem and self value
Big Jackets can cover up the rest of your bricked fit. Top of the pyramid.
comfort and fit > everything else
jackets > shirts for fall/winter. since the jacket covers much of the details of the shirt anyway.
Pant/shoe interaction
Just how the hem of the pants falls on the top of the shoe
