AMD Mesa drivers: Triangles all over the place

Hello! I'm rocking an RX 6600 on Fedora 39, and I keep getting issues with triangles all over the place in some Vulkan games, but very occasionally. This isn't a Heroic specific issue, but I've seen it happen on Cyberpunk 2077 and Detroit: Become Human, both of which are Vulkan games. Attached is a screenshot from CP2077, D:BH looks pretty similar.

Looks perfectly fine after restarting the game, but really annoying when it happens. First time I've seen it in CP2077, happens a lot in D:BH

CP 2077 is a DX12 game fwiw.

Yes but DXVK turns it into a Vulkan renderer

Nope, vkd3d-proton does it.

Are you the guy that posted DBH screenshot from some chapter 3 in Proton tracker? Because i saw something similar there

Yes, probably acerspyro, with the penguin pfp

Yep, correct one. Do you use Proton 8.0 for both games?

Proton Experimental for both

Awesome, no AMDVLK either. Now what you need to do is ( since your setup is in good state, no other factors that would expect the outcome) opening an issue in Mesa tracker. Preferably with renderdoc captures. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues I play DBH these days but didn't see a graphical issue like that. Rdna 3, same Mesa version. You can try one env var for testing if you want. RADV_DEBUG=syncshaders

Thanks! I'll open an issue tomorrow :)
