AMD Mesa drivers: Triangles all over the place
Hello! I'm rocking an RX 6600 on Fedora 39, and I keep getting issues with triangles all over the place in some Vulkan games, but very occasionally.
This isn't a Heroic specific issue, but I've seen it happen on Cyberpunk 2077 and Detroit: Become Human, both of which are Vulkan games.
Attached is a screenshot from CP2077, D:BH looks pretty similar.

Looks perfectly fine after restarting the game, but really annoying when it happens. First time I've seen it in CP2077, happens a lot in D:BH

CP 2077 is a DX12 game fwiw.

Yes but DXVK turns it into a Vulkan renderer

Nope, vkd3d-proton does it.

Are you the guy that posted DBH screenshot from some chapter 3 in Proton tracker?
Because i saw something similar there

Yep, correct one.
Do you use Proton 8.0 for both games?

Proton Experimental for both

Awesome, no AMDVLK either.
Now what you need to do is ( since your setup is in good state, no other factors that would expect the outcome) opening an issue in Mesa tracker. Preferably with renderdoc captures.

I play DBH these days but didn't see a graphical issue like that.
Rdna 3, same Mesa version.
You can try one env var for testing if you want.
