Quick Help to config the Domain

im trying to put my domain for use, but didint work..
I ve just created a CNAME with the value from railway, look image
my question is If I have to configure it like the instructions in the video, getting the IP..
I wanted to know the best configuration to have more security, remembering that it will be a URL for the api that I will use in a front end application

That video is wrong in what it shows you, it tells you to grab the IP from the current connection and add that to your DNS as an A record
The problem with this setup is that your IP can change between deployments, all IPs for deployments on Railway is dynamic at the moment, this means that the A record might not always point to your deployment's IP
What you'd want to do is add the CNAME set to the target Railway provides instead, my best bet is that he instructed you to add an A record pointing to the IP to allow you to add it at the root of your domain, since godaddy doesn't support CNAMEs on root and he was trying to add it on the root

The best domain registrar in my opinion would be namecheap, but I've heard good things about cloudflare too
