difficulty with a MTM tweed sport coat
I got this in November and I'm really in love with the tweed fabric but sadly due to the patterns that the MTM company uses it's just not as comfortable as my other sport coats. it also looks a bit short which I think is also due to the company using a relatively slim and cropped cut. Is there anything I can do with it that would make it more comfortable and/or look nicer? Any alterations that could be done by the MTM company or a tailor?

i agree the jacket is a bit short. unfortunately, there's no much you can do, as there's no seam allowance where the jacket's fronts curve up, so you can't let it out.
anything I can do about the arms being a bit tight?
and it does pull a wee bit at the front when buttoned
I already had them let everything out a bit after the first try-on so I'm not sure how much more allowance there would be
Unfortunately, no. There is typically no outlet in the sleeves.
damn, I guess I'll just have to deal with it. it's not very uncomfortable or anything, just my other sport coats fit a lot nicer which makes me want to not wear it as much
