Tautulli / Truenas ping failing, http not supported, expected https
Running /dev branch
Both internal and external address uses an HTTPS link
The certificate is valid and it goes through NGINX Proxy Manager.
All my other apps pings work except Tautulli and TrueNAS

Thanks for reporting. Can confirm that this is a bug I introduced myself. @Meierschlumpf @ajnart we should not merge tomorrow as long as this is not fixed. I will push a fix PR tomorrow.
btw, wanted to ask. How fast does TrueNas update the dev image? Does it work well? Do you run using the custom app?
I recently migrated myself to TrueNas.
Nice find @Spillebulle thanks for being a valued insider you saved us from many headaches
@Manicraft1001 I still think my simplified ping would’ve solved all the issues and we would’ve had no complaints aha
We discussed this though: It's bad to remove functionality from the user when you don't offer any alternative at the same time.
I agree that the simplified ping is the correct solution, but only when we have a replacement (Uptime Kuma).
As you saw in #📊・polls it seems that most people just want it to work
Do you think uptime Kuma integration is hard ?
I might as well take a look at it. But I’ll have to set it up for myself
Can we move this discussion? We already discussed it and this is way out of context/scope
Yeah, in #💻・development
I'm running TrueNAS on HW. Don't really update it ever, just use it as a pure NAS
@Spillebulle are you available to test? I will push an image in a few minutes
I pushed a new dev image. Can you re-check, @Spillebulle ?
TrueNAS works but Tautulli now says "Maximum number of redirects exceeded". It didn't before
Ok. I'll push another commit
Image is deploying. Will notify you as soon as it's available
Deployed @Spillebulle
Still same
Solution
Pushed another commit. Will notify as soon as image is deployed
Deployed @Spillebulle
Now it's green with 200
Hurray!
Any other bugs that you see? Other problems with ping?
Note: I will delete this channel, because it contains information that we don't want to ingest to Answer Overflow.
Does the ping just update on refresh?
It also should update after a few minutes
The ping should update each 5 minutes (just looked in the code)
That does not seem to work
Are you sure that it doesnt? Tried refreshing after 5 minutes? We changed nothing about the stale time.
It always updates on refresh but not by itself if I dont
Had a service online for 10 min without it updating the status. When I refreshed it got updated to online
Just checked: We didn't update in last 3 months. I'd say that this also didn't work in previous versions for you?
So we are going to release anyway. Report it on GitHub if it doesn't work.
Never tried, always thought I had to refresh for it to update
Will do
Ok. Will merge now. Thanks
