cheap cotton thermal l/s shirts
any recommendations for something that's in the $30-40 range? I'll pretty much be wearing them under shirts.
hoping to find something that tick these boxes:
- waffle fabric
- white/cream color
- athletic/tighter fit
- all cotton (no polyester)
- preferably crewneck

these are made to the same pattern as some Real McCoys ones I have that are excellent but cost several times more
can't speak to if they're made worse than in the 70s but the specification hasn't changed since
6 hour old thread and nobody has said Uniqlo yet. I assume that's the answer to any question about cheaper basics like these
ppl love the heattech stuff but i'm always worried w poly and acrylic knits of smells sticking through the wash
Bronson
Heavyweight Waffle Cotton Underwear - White
Made of 14 oz. heavyweight waffle cotton, flat-lock stitching, make it more durable and comfortable.
bronson sells these which look pretty good too
Personally I'm not a fan of Uniqlo stuff but people here in general seem to really like them. I have some thermals from gap and banana republic that were pretty cheap, fit well, and are good for layering
The Mccoys are awesome.
I suspect those Bronson ones are >90% of the way there for less than a third of the price but I like the feeling of wearing something made by people who must be obsessed weirdoes in a way not too different from me.
Best $100 I ever spent.
thanks everyone! yeah Uniqlo doesn't have any 100% cotton ones. I ended up buying a couple of the lucky brand ones but the milsurp and bronsen ones look great so I'll consider those if these don't work out.
