Cannot start Watch Dogs (Windows)
When pressing play, Heroic will say the game is running and after some time will stop. Since i thought this could be a Ubi issue, so i manually installed Ubi connect which throws this error when trying to run the game.

try setting a VPN or changing your DNS servers to point to google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, maybe that helps

the ubi launcher has always given me connection issues
could be that
Ubi's launcher is very... particular about your connection. I have to use a VPN to even log in with it

Ive been playing watch dogs on my Deck for a bit and that went without a hitch when i used proton, so probs maybe not Heroic's side
Changing dns now
nope same error
ill try diff DNS addresses
i tried 4 dns's, same error
ill give a vpn a try
FWIW the error I (used to) get was ever-so-slightly different

Welp turns out i can actually log into ubi connect and start the game without needing either heroic or epic.
Should i close this now?
