Wrong Icon on Kde
I'm using Kde with an icon pack and Heroic is the only app which shows the stock icon and not the from the Icon pack.
I'm also using x11 and the WhiteSur icon theme https://store.kde.org/p/1405756

you should be able to customize icons for any shortcuts manually, I don't think it's something heroic has to fix. right click the shortcut > properties and it should give you some way to set an icon

go to
~/.local/share/icons/WhiteSur/apps/ and look for heroic.svg and its corresponding symlink com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl.svg
redownload it if you need to, but it is already included in the pack
