rocket league not launching on m1 mac
This is my first time using Heroic and I'm having trouble playing Rocket League. It won't launch at all. I've installed GPTK and I've tried with GPTK and crossover. I can't find the options for DVXT, d3dmetal, etc which I've seen mentioned in other posts. Just wondering if I'm missing something really obvious. Here's the log

I tried with the wine prefix set to the default heroic one, then I removed the
default segment, then I changed it to the wine prefix I set up with GPTK. No difference between them in terms of behaviourxenial-black•17mo ago
I just got this working
But now it freezes, lol
issy I had the same problem. I had to do WINEPREFIX=~/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket\ League
brew --prefix game-porting-toolkit/bin/wine64 winecfg in a Intel ZSH terminal
Now mine launches but it freezes when I actually try to play 😦
I'm going to have to uninstall it entirely and download it AGAIN 😦 😦equal-aqua•17mo ago
you don't need to reinstall a game when the prefix is messed up, you can just delete the prefix folder and heroic will create a new one

Hey! That actually worked. Thanks. At least it can launch again. What's the proper way to have a game be able to be launched with both Crossover and GPTK? Make two different prefixes?
