Tried various wine + game porting toolkit versions (latest Game Porting Toolkit seemed most promising)
and this procedure
wine manager in heroic's sidebar
- wine-crossover tab
- install the latest (or 23.something)
- set wine-crossover as the wine/crossover version in the game's settings
- set
/Users/-/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Rocket League as the Wine Prefix configuration
- turn on auto installation of dxvk
