Packt publishing asked me to review the "Architectural Patterns and Techniques for Developing IoT Solutions" by Jasbir Singh Dhaliwal.
I assessed a few IoT-related books recently; this position is my favorite as it:
- Clearly explains main IoT concepts and commonly used abbreviations.
- Provides a general introduction to the Internet of Things domain.
- Covers various business applications of IoT capabilities.
The author elaborates on numerous aspects of an IoT domain on a conceptual level without diving into specific implementations. The described architectural patterns apply to any technological stack and cloud provider - that is the most significant advantage of this book.
I recommend this book to everyone entering the IoT space.
PS. This is my honest opinion, not a paid review.
