How does METRO ROYALE work?

I want someone to explain to me in details how does metro royale work? I am completely new to it and it seems really cool and gives that interesting vibe with all new items and the radiation zone. However, as I am new to it, I want to know what happens with our stuff in the inventory each season? Does it ever get erased or something? I.e. currently I got all Lvl.6 maxed out stuff and improved mk14 as main weapon, it was kinda hard to acquire that as a newbie. I look forward to play this Metro mode more than the battle royale , so i want to understand the mechanism regarding the inventory items and metro cash! Thanks

How are seasons even working here? I saw some hero, adventurer, and rookie ranks but I did not quite understand that

Hey! @DEntisT:SCfloppaSHAKE:. Metro Royale is independent of the regular battle royale mode in the game, and it features an entirely different lobby. Upon starting a game, two returning points would be marked on the map. The players have to collect loot and reach these points to take these items back. They will be able to exchange the items for Metro Cash, which in turn, can be used to redeem rewards of their choice. If the players fail to survive and are unable to reach the exit points, the items that are held by them will be lost. Items stored in the Lock Box will be brought back to you, irrespective of whether you win or lose the match. So, players can put the more valuable items in it to safeguard them, in case they fail to return. Black market is another interesting aspect of Metro Royale, as players can use it to purchase and sell the equipments. The inventory in Metro Royale is independent to that of the classic mode, and the supplies that the players return with are stored in it. Unlike the regular battle royale mode, users have to equip their loadout before starting a game in the Metro Royale mode, and only those items which are placed in the loadout will be available in-game. Furthermore , you can check the detailed video explanation from here : https://youtu.be/dXEqNo7LfLg?si=kjQdaIbxclF8Go74 or you may check it from the Official PUBGM YouTube channel.

Hi, @DEntisT! Metro Royale uses the term “chapter” instead of season. Each chapter usually lasts around for 2 months, just like seasons. The current Metro Royale: Chapter 18 will be available until March 11, 2024 at 00:00 (UTC+0). When a new chapter starts, all of your items and the Metro Cash you own will be reset. However, your Fame, Favorability and Talents will be retained. The Honor System (tier system) in Metro Royale is actually very similar to the tier system in Classic Mode. There are 7 tiers in total and each one except the Legendary tier has 5 mini tiers. From lowest to the highest: Adventurer Rookie Veteran Fighter Elite Hero Legendary You will need to earn Honor in order to increase your tier. Honor represents a player’s strength in Metro Royale mode. Honor can be obtained from defeating players, picking up Honor items or by completing weekly missions. Honor gets reset with every new chapter update. You can tap on this question mark icon here to view specific Honor requirements for each tier.

Oh Thanks! Also, I saw that this mode is actually like a collab with Metro Exodus game? Does that essentially mean that it will be eventually removed from PUBG Mobile as other modes such as Survive till Dawn which was a collab with Resident Evil?

Nothing was really said about it being permanent yet it has been receiving updates even after the collab was over so you could say that it is permanent
