Also failed
what error are you given?
Connection attempt timed out.
are you using all the correct variables
yes
yes
copied pasted from here
can the data tab even connect?
yes - data tab connects
the data is still in the tables after the V2 migration
can you try with dbgate instead of dbeaver
yes i will try now
yeah... still failed using dbgate lol
if it helps
are you on public wifi? or maybe school wifi?
yes lol
that matters?
i'm at a library haha
Solution
yeah there's often firewalls on such networks that block uncommon ports
rip
an example of an uncommon port would be 52148 - the port the database is accessible from
how do i interact with my database
non programtically
non-programatically
use a vpn to get around the firewall or use internet that doesn't have a firewall
on a public network
okay thanks
any vpn would work?
lol i know nothing about networking rip
I mean, get a trustworthy vpn at least, like PIA or mulvad
thanks
they cost money though
it's fine - thanks
you can close the issue
happy to help
