The anthology mtm

Has anyone ordered from theanthology.net, I am wondering how you felt about sizing and quality? I am about to order a couple ocbd shirts and liked a lot of the stuff I see on instagram.

Why do you want a MTM OCBD?

I don’t really care too much about the custom measuring. I like the collar, weight, and colors of their offerings. I looked at j press and they were out of the size I’m looking for. Open to other options though. green university stripe and a nice gold yellow ocbd

I don't have direct experience but I'm sure The Anthology does a stellar job

I’m curious why you ask this, forgive my ignorance here, are ocbd’s something not worth the extra cost of custom sizing or is it just because there is an abundance of availability of these so why get higher cost overseas mtm option?

MTM OCBD to me just feels like an oxymoron. OCBDs in terms of Ivy style wear are meant to be relaxed and a bit boxy it's a silhouette that is very achievable with RTW and, RTW is "more Ivy" than MTM if that makes sense? now you do say that you like the colors and fabrics that they offer so that's a good reason to do MTM if you're unable to find them elsewhere mostly I wanted to discourage you from getting an MTM OCBD that was like perfectly slimly molded to your body or whatever

oh yeah I don’t want to do that thank you for the thoughts though, I’m not like rushing to order so I’ll keep thinking about it and do some more ivy research

I had the Anthology do a MTO sportcoat for me. Quality is fantastic and their RTW line was also really nice. I can’t speak to their shirts, but assuming a similar quality across the line, I think you’d be happy if the design details are what you’re looking for I’d also throw out that they do their shirts MTO as well. More limited adjustments, but can hone in one some of the fit changes you may want
