Kingdom Hearts not launching when added via Steam?

So, in order for controller compatibility via SteamInput, I've been adding Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 to Steam as a Non-Steam game, where the game itself refuses to launch when attempting to initiate it from Steam, when it would previously in this same environment. I am able to get it to launch within Heroic alone, however it will then fail to detect my controller. looks like an out of date driver? i'm not sure what driver version is on windows

Video Driver IS rather out of date, checking into it. What throws me off is that I was able to launch the KH launcher just fine via Steam, enough to play through all of KH1 even But it's coming back to it after some time, to resume 2, that I'm having issues

yep your video driver is not the problem windows specfic problem i think

Ahhhh I did just update to the most recent version of Heroic today, or so I thought -- double check to ensure there's no additional updates?

create a github account and download this version: https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/actions/runs/7775991930 there's no release with the fix yet it will be part of 2.13.0

and make sure you click no every time it prompts for update this is newer than 2.12.1 but version is still reported as 2.12.0

👍 Thank you so much! And to be sure I'm understanding before testing, if I launch the portable test build, before launching the KH launcher via Steam, it should go through the already open Heroic, and not attempt to open the other build Sure enough it did, everything's (mostly) working now Just some issues with controller detection, but that's just going to be on Steam's end to sort out Thank you again so much!
