Are the shoulders on this jacket mangled or passable?

Tailor butchered the spalla and I think I'm just paranoid of the result. I know they aren't perfect but are they passable?

I didn't notice it in your #waywt when I scrolled thru but that left shoulder is jacked up and now I can't unsee it

Tbh I don’t think most would even notice, but yeah it breaks my heart. I don’t think it’s so bad it’s unwearable?

The shoulders are unpadded.

certainly not unwearable the creases going into the armpits seem like the biggest issue with that jacket. idk if that was caused by the shoulder rebuild or not but still a relatively minor thing

Ok that’s comforting cheers. When you say creases going into the armpit are you talking about the “drape” on the chest? I’m at the limits of my knowledge so apologies if I’m using the wrong term

Notice how these areas lay flat in the pic you sent but not on your jacket

Yeah, gotcha. I think that was there from day 1. It's a v heavy tweed and I'd read that as just some extreme drape, it doesn't bother me at all funnily. I was upset at the change from a rounded spalla shoulder to squared off.

Similar phenomena on an Urban Comp tweed ISI suit. I had assumed it was a stylistic choice by Motiv since the suit was meant to be a vintage style "1930s lounge jacket"
