How bad is it? Aluminum bed. Cold.

So today I was having serious issues keeping my first layer flat because the part was pretty large compared to usual. I had to baby the entire first layer and constantly step up and down as needed. The results were crap and then the second layer was also crap because of the inconsistent first layer. So I ended up removing the glass plate and found that the steel plate had fused to the magnetic sheet. Heated it all up to 100º and ripped off the plate and magnet. Took the opportunity to clean the aluminum plate and then, just for kicks, decided to do a bed mesh on the plate itself, just to see what we were working with. The results are in the posted image. How bad is it?

0.8 is atrocious You should be able to tell with a straight edge if the bed is really that messed up. But I suspect it is actually your x axis that isn't straight

Good idea. I'll go grab one from QC and run it over the bed and the X and I'll report back.
