Allen Edmonds Sizing Comparison
I'm looking to pick up a used pair of the AE Sea Island suede loafers in blue but was a bit curious on sizing. I wear a 10.5D in their 65 last (5th Avenue) but saw mixed responses on whether to stick with a 10.5 or size down to a 10. Does anyone here have personal experience or recommendations?

The best is to try it in-person, even if you will buy used.
I agree. Unfortunately, the Sea Island loafers were discontinued by Allen Edmonds years ago. The best I could hope for is going to an AE store and trying on loafers from different lasts, see what the results are, and hope those older loafers fit in the same ballpark.
Ask them which sre the most similar to Sea Islands, or try a thrift shop.
