Suit jackets should be worn casually
When I look at people wearing jackets, only the ones who wear suit jackets catch my eyes. The other types of jackets (non-wool) just don't look as good. There's nothing interesting about them
I've been reading people's opinions and it's mostly like this "Suit jackets should only be worn with suit pants"
I disagree.. I think suit jackets should be the standart for casual outfits, blazers and sport coats are just nowhere near good compared to them

There's nothing wrong with liking suit jackets/sport coats/blazers but to say that all others don't look good or are uninteresting is just absurd. Was this rage bait?
what in your eye makes blazers or sport coats 'less good', especially when the primary distinction of a suit jacket is the matching pant?
and specifically wool jackets, to you do aesthetics override the functional purpose of a linen or tweed?
Post pics of orphaned suit jacket outfits. I’ve definitely done it, but it was a patch pocket gray textured jacket so didn’t seem so out of place.
Also if that’s what you like, that’s what you should wear. Life’s too short to dress for other people

A lot of folks would say that worsted wool is too shiny and they’d prefer a tweed or hopsack. Something with more texture to make it look more casual
