MTM from Suit Supply
https://alittlebitofrest.com/2025/09/06/my-susu-suit-ios/
Hey guys! I know i've been wearing and posting my suit supply suits for a few months and I finally got around to writing up what the experience was like.
TL;DR/highlights
- my friend worked there (a friend i knew BEFORE he started working there, so this aint an influencer thing), and he had tested the MTM quite a bit and got some good results, which is why I did it and worked with him to get it
- my friends made some suits before I did and they came out well (including my friends flared suit)
, so i wanted to try it
- it is NOT MTO. you have to use a fitting garment that is a "normal two button" and slim, mid rise pants
- at least for me, it helped to try on a few sizes, RTW, and brign my own stuff to explain to Jack what i wanted, but again, he had a good idea of what to do because 1. we're friends and hang out, 2 . he also made quite a bit of custom
- its all about adding and subtracting inches. however, i did NOT see what the system/UI looks like on their end, so idk how it all translates outside of communication. Im sure there is stuff like posture, buttoning point, back rise/etc, seat size (full, flat ,etc) that jack did on his own by looking at me
- there were a few remakes that we did after noticing some problems (mainly the pants) which are indeed open to people, but im sure a regular sales guy may fight you on the remake.
like always, YMMV! Not everyone who works at suit supply is a fashion head! jack is a big fashion guy, collects vintage, and had made stuff himself, so thats why these came out pretty good!
