Trying to set up Cloudflare to manage DNS

I have had my DNS managed by GoDaddy but they dont support the CNAME with @, so I set up Cloudflare to manage my DNS. I switched over the nameservers to Cloudflares and my site wasnt accesible. I just set my SSL to be Full, and Im aware I shouldnt have A records, so what do I need to adjust on my DNS records for the root domain to resolve correctly?
