Y Stepper motor only move one direction
Hi,
I just got a Rat Rig V-core 3.1 standard kit. I am having a problem where the Y stepper motor only moves in one direction. When the axes are jogged using the interface the printer only moves towards negative Y and Positive X. The attached pictures show the input given and how the printer moves in response.
What I have tried for troubleshooting:
I connected a stepper that is known to work correctly to the stepper Y's wire. This stepper had the same problem, therefore ruling out an issue with the stepper motors themselves.
I swapped the stepper driver for a driver that is known to work correctly. The problem persisted, ruling out an issue with the stepper drivers.
I typed STEPPER_BUZZ STEPPER=stepper_x into the terminal. This is supposed to move the "X" stepper back and forth 1 mm. This worked correctly.
I typed STEPPER_BUZZ STEPPER=stepper_y into the terminal. This is supposed to move the "Y" stepper back and forth 1 mm. However the motor moved in only one direction.
I tried switching the Y motor to a different port on the board but didn't figure out how to successfully do this in firmware.
