repairability? - blown crotch seam
Hey y’all, recently bought these pants from 18East, been loving them, but looked today and there’s a giant hole from a busted seam at the crotch (there’s a smaller, second tear further down, but is only visible when reversed). I’ve worn these maybe 8-10 times, never noticed any ripping or tearing, could it be from the washing machine? Washed cold and air dried. Would emailing CS. Do anything? Is it feasible to try and get these repaired?

bummer that that happened so quickly but it's definitely possible to repair. take em to your tailor, the work shouldn't be to pricey either
In addition, it’s always worth contacting CS. Regardless of the repairability, so long as you’ve been following care instructions then I wouldn’t expect clothing to be falling apart after 8-10 wears, and ideally you shouldn’t need to be out of pocket to fix it.
damn, looks like they either didn't leave enough seam allowance or didn't bind the edges well enough. Khadi is such a loose weave
actually crazy it blew out that fast
Looks like an easy repair but I second contacting CS. I've had good luck with 18 East pieces but I know the quality can be inconsistent sometimes.
I wouldn’t count on it being an easy repair. Hard to stitch it back up without enough seam allowance, which it doesn’t look like it has anymore
Might have to reinforce the fabric before they repair
Would recommend trying to get 18e to fix it
