Revelator IO24 vs IO44
Are the internals of the io24 and the io44 the same; are the values presented in julian krauses' review of the io44, the same as the internals of the io24.
Both are the same price on amazon. The io24 is older and has 2 mic/line combo inputs. the IO44 is newer has 1 mic and 1 line input, I will only ever use 1 mic and 1 line input, which both have.
Which ones measurements are better? even if tiny
I ask to be sure the measurements for the line in/out and mic in are equal on both
Would be cool to get an audio tag here, ill mark as capture card for now
On the presonus website it mentions
EIN for mic input:
-126 dBu for the io24
-128 dBu for io44
0.005% THD for io44 vs 0.009% THD on io24
and
Headphone Outputs Maximum Output
40 mW/Channel at 56Ξ© for io24
vs 30mW for io44. I won't use the headphone outputs anyway since I'll go main out to a headphone amp
These are the only difference i could find on the website
Mic input seems better on the newer io44, leading me to believe line inputs might be better aswell. Im not sure how big a difference those numbers make though
