Audio Distortion

I have a friend whos volume is distorted when playing with their headset. They've done a bunch of YT tutorials but nothings working. They have Discords Attenuation at 0% and have tinkered with a bunch of windows settings. If anyone knows a fix I'd love to hear it.

Does your friend use surround sound? it could interfere with valorant hrtf and mess up the audio
