Was hoping to get some questions answered

Hi everyone, I am a student in university and as a part of one of my classes I was told to conduct interviews with people in fields was interested in. I have been interested in fashion and elevating my outfit choices for a while but have had trouble doing so in the past and thus wanted to combine my curiosity and my assignment into this post. I have taken permission from the mods and they have allowed me to ask you guys my questions. I have written my questions below. Looking forward to reading all of your responses! 1.     What is the hardest part about putting together an outfit during your day-to-day routine or in preparation for an event ? 2.     Can you describe the last time you had that problem ? 3.     What emotions do you usually associate with that problem ? 4.     When was the last time you tried to solve this issue? 5.     Was there anything insufficient about this solution and if so, what was it ? 6.     What are the emotions you feel when putting together an outfit for an important event or something you have been looking forward to compared to the emotions you feel when having to put together an outfit for uninteresting and mundane events when you do not want to think too much about what you are wearing ? 7.     What are some solutions you have explored to make putting together outfits generally more streamlined or easier ? 8.     Where do you get the inspiration for some of your outfits and do you consider how you would pair an item of clothing you are purchasing with your existing wardrobe ? 9.     Individual flair and a personal sense of style seem to be important when it comes to putting outfits together, How do you incorporate your personality and individual flair in your outfits and is it something you actively consider when purchasing new items ? Thanks a lot again! if anyone is willing to let me interview them to answer the same questions written here that would be amazing! please let me know via DM's and thanks again !

1. Once I pick an item (shoes, suit, sportcoat, tie, etc) that I want to wear that day, everything else comes fairly easily. It's the issue of figuring out which item(s) I want to wear that day (because i like them all, lol) 2. It was an office day and I couldn't decide on which one of my like, 5, sportcoats i haven't worn recently 3. a self reflection that this is such a inconsequential "problem" to have (maybe with a bit of impatience depending on how late i am) 4. i solve this issue every day i put on outside-clothes 5. i think my problem is actually too frivolous to realistically answer this one 6. they're the exact same, unless a dress code was specified, in which case i have to think a bit more. i like clothes 7. decide on my first item faster 8. the first noun that comes to mind: mark cho, lol. to the second part, yes definitely 9. it's not something I actively considering, because i think my personality and taste already dictate my choice of purchasing items. i think i may not be quite understanding what you're trying to get at here. the outfit itself is a reflection of any "flair" or "style" i have, rather than one particular item or something like that. the closest thing maybe, is i enjoy silly things like J.press's shaggy dog logo, or Brooks Bros. Henry the lamb mascot, or the polo bear mascot, so i may have more-than-average accessories with these types of things

1. I sometimes suffer from analysis paralysis - most of the time I have a loose idea of the outfit or the vibe and it comes together but sometimes I'll go through the loops of "but what about [x] instead"? 2. a couple of weeks ago, when i had to go into the office 3. anxiety is usually at the top of the list, but sometimes a little bit of frustration at the amount of time spent 4. not really sure of a time, i really just try to do ad-hoc solutions when it hits (usually setting aside the outfit in advance) 5. ad-hoc solutions are inefficient to making concrete systems, plus the actual choices don't really hold up to scrutiny in the moment 6. there's an increased level of stress sometimes about putting together an outfit for a planned or important event vs a day to day outfit, which i think is generally enjoyable 7. setting aside outfits in advance, building together more time to account for neurosis 8. lots of sources - mfa discord, instagram, certain media (tv, film, music). i consider greatly how well a new piece fits within my existing wardrobe 9. i think the act of choosing and wearing my outfits is a manifestation of my personality - mostly studious and pragmatic but with a tiny sprinkle of humor like a vintage cap or white socks and loafers. i don't actively seek out these things, rather, they come organically as i put together outfits mostly
