Legion Go: Legion-L + Y = what exactly?

I'm having trouble understanding what the above combination does other than change the color of the power button. Is it supposed to change the TDP settings? If so, I'm not seeing any difference.

Can someone explain this to me?

but it won't change the TDP slider in DeckyTDP or Steam, the plugin can't track changes made in the background by the Lenovo shortcut
