Subscription payment refused

Subscription payment cannot be completed. I've tried several cards, physical and virtual, and Stripe still says that the subscription was declined, even though nothing appears on the card statement or notification from the acquirer informing about the attempted purchase. Has anyone gone through something similar?

Please provide your project ID or reply with N/A. Thread will automatically be closed if no reply is received within 10 minutes. You can copy your project's id by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + K -> Copy Project ID.
