TI found that making two bases close to each other is best, that way you can run or better yet zip back and forth. throws off the cannibals

NThey don't in pre 1.0 saves. You can mod the setup files, but it's not for the faint.
Tit's pretty hard to adapt to if you're used to the respawn hack.....

NIt's possible to set containers to fill on load post 1.0 in a custom game when you start. Only option after you've started the game is to edit the game setup files.
