MWhen building a stone house, is there any reason for vertical stone walls? Or can you just make horizontal all the way around. What purpose does the vertical sections serve?

NIf you just want a wall, the left is fine. If you want a room, you'll need posts (of wood or stone) to support cross-beams.

Nand that matches with what I posted above. That single wall, vs something like a 4x6 empty room.
Mmy house ground floor is 7 times 1x1 on each length, so it's a lot of wall i would have to tear down and redo if I need vertical stone pillars in between all horizontal walls
NYeah, I don't do major remodels. I just adapt and build around, and save that tip for the next build.

PI'm not saying it's a practice I agree with, but it's the world we live in. We either accept it or cry about it on the internet. That's not to say that there are somethings we dont understand about the process of launching a game as consumers. Look, I've probably played almost 200 hours of Skyrim in the past 2 months.. guess how many bugs I've dealt with in a game that's almost 15 years old? lmao

TYou could play the game without building a base, but if you don't like building I don't think this is the game for you
