Cross play/cloud saves

Hello everyone! I’m trying to sync my GOG cloud saves for the Witcher 3 for cross play with my Switch and noticed there’s a cloud save option in Heroic but enabling it does not seem to make a difference. Is there some way to make this work?

I tried running GOG on Whiskey, like you would with Steam, but ran into an issue w/ .net framework (downloading and installing it did not help)
