FF7 Intergrade, need to be launch via Epic
Good morning.
I have a problem with THIS game (my other games, which do not require a connection, work), probably because of the connection verification via Epic. I already read the faq. Proton and wine are updated with the latest version. In normal mode, the game asks me to connect via epic. on the other hand in office mode it works. but the problem is that the game is in keyboard mode, so it's unplayable. I have the impression that in desktop mode, it quickly connects to Epic when the game is launched. Something it doesn't do in normal mode. Someone would have any idea ?

some terms going forward:
desktop mode instead of office mode
game mode instead of normal mode
re-read the FAQ and post the game logs
don't use proton for this, use wine
(not trying to be pedantic, just trying to maintain clarity)

when you're launching it in game mode, how are you doing it? are you using a shortcut directly to the game, or are you launching Heroic first?

I launch the game directly from the steam library
OK, I found a solution. In desktop mode, hold down the Steam button to open the Steam application. launch the game from here and it works. the game is therefore in controller mode

It’s complaining a lot about vkd3d which it shouldn’t be. Try launching the game with dx11 in game mode. I believe it’s
