I mean it's completely subjective to your relationship to the people who may be negatively impacted by 0 notice If you don't care ? Who cares If you care, then that's your blocker

Yeah lol 2 weeks is a courtesy , you're not going to find anything more stringent that that If 0 notice floats your boat that's fine too It's a you thing, not an industry thing

Its a burned bridge for reference purposes but otherwise no consequences unless you're not at-will employed

@Salmz 100% culturally okay in relatively few circumstances. Top of mind would be anything unethical, illegal or very big family emergency. 2 weeks is standard. 4 weeks if you're a professional and may want to return in the future.

Ok. You guys are right. I’ll give the standard 2 weeks soon. I almost reached a breaking point today at a J I’ve been meaning to quit for a long time.

Yeah nothing wrong with going 2 week notice and then minimal effort

This is different. Once one of your red lines has been crossed and you decided to leave the company, wait two months. The additional time allows you to collect more money, distance the event from your departure, craft a strategy and most importantly work through all the emotions in advance so when you tell them you have the advantage.

As soon as you’ll put your 2 weeks in their attitude towards you will be different Hopefully you will enter a transition the project to another team member phase Good luck
