disabling laptop keyboard on startup
When i open the game my laptop keyboard doesn’t work even if i close the game. it only starts working after a few times of restarting my laptop. does anyone know how to fix it?

Alienware M15 r7
With 3050Ti and 32gb of ram
I tried:
Reinstalling the game 3 times
Reinstalling vanguard separately 2 times

check ur keyboard control software
repair it or simply reinstall it

its perfectly alright before the game and it works when i play other game it only disables when i open val
so only val
do u have some weird settings in ur keyboard software?

nope very sure i do not because I don’t mess with those things because idk how to undo it or even do it in the first place
the only thing I tried that I forgot to list in the question, is that I did install and uninstall something called an interception… I read it on reddit

like what is it for
Probably the windows driver interception, it’s the driver that accepts inputs on the kernel side before it reaches the os
Might’ve tried replacing it or something?

nah its a driver by oblitum called interception
it reads the input stack so its before your mouclass and stuff gets the data
it apparently comes with some other software people install
it makes sense for it to be blocked though, it was very popular for cheats
but unfortunately it didn’t work
and I’ve been scouring the internet to find solutions but can’t seem to get it to work…
10mins ago i tried reinstalling vanguard and it worked for around 5 mins i can use my keyboard in game but after that it completely does not work again… i had to do a couple of restarts to get my keyboard working again

vanguard mightve blocked ur driver
thats why ur keyboard isnt working after u opened the game

use driverstoreexplorer to remove the driver

is there any other possible reason why? because I tried removing the driver it still didn’t work
You could manually sit and turn back the control set registries to default
Or wipe the registry, that might also work
This is assuming that the drivers are actually the reason for the problem occurring and they don’t uninstall the way they properly should be
