Stutter with Elgato 4k60 pro

Doesnt matter if I mirror, make another display, or even EDID clone the cable signal. The 4k60 pro mk2 gets frame jitter as if the frame timing is out of sync and its catching up every 15 or so seconds. Has anyone encoutered this or know of a fix?

1. Post your system specs 2. Post and OBS log 3. What is the resolution and framerate you're sending to the capture card? 4. What resolution & framerate are you selecting to capture in OBS / 4K Capture Utility?

hey Hunter thanks for popping in! Ive been digging around and after lots of trial and error, I found its not the capture card...ITS OBS. This is an apparently common issue with OBS. Its to do with monitor hz and OBS refresh rate miss-timing. This guy did a good video on it, I think it might even be worthy of coverage by the Stream professor 🙂 https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/i-have-finally-fix-the-legendary-interval-stutter-issue-and-i-wish-obs-would-integrate-it-within-the-setting.160015/

I have finally fix the legendary INTERVAL STUTTER issue, and I wish...
For years I have been frustrated by the random stutters that appear every few minutes or so, using both of my PC (old and new). So after spending weeks of trials and errors, I have finally able to fix it 100% (at least for the recording), and I can even manipulate the stutters, and predict when...

My monitors seem to have a hz of 59.872 As a result, obs at default 60 seems to shudder/slowdown to resync every few seconds. I could actually capculate it with the guide in the video there. There is no fix for streaming, but for recording I can use a fractional FPS value. If I try to stream with that I'll get a network error as the platform will reject it.
