Stuck on issuing TLS certificate when creating custom domain
I have already tried removing my DNS settings and custom domain entry and re-add it. My domain provider is Namecheap.
Solution:Jump to solution
turn off DNSSEC, remove the domain from railway and then add it back without touching any dns in namecheap

maybe i should wait a bit
that will sort itself out soon enough
right
maybe hard refresh
tysm btw
no problem
sorry to bother you again, now I'm trying to index my page on google search console. as per their instructions, i have added the TXT record here. it's been 2 hours and my site is still not verified. i suspect it has something to do with the CNAME record for railway conflicting with the TXT record since they both point to the same host
nothing wrong with having a txt record on the root, but what I see being separate issues is that URL redirect and the www subdomain you have pointing to Google for some reason?
do you even need a www subdomain?
lol i was just reading thru namecheap's guide and they suggest putting them in there
idek what those do lol? i know nothing about networking
I definitely wouldn't, it's 2024, nothing actually needs a www subdomain anymore
right
so yeah remove the redirect and www subdomain
alr, i'll let it take a bit before trying again
ty
let's see what you now have for DNS settings
here u go
looks fine, just got to wait for dns propagation
turns out CNAME record pointing at the root @ will take precedence over the TXT record
or that's what Namecheap support told me
but it works so i'm not gonna complain
awesome!
