the world is sometimes completely flat
The flat LODs are cave culling, either set it lower or turn it off
The fog is probably a mod incompatibility
how would a mod make it compatible?

are dimension (and custom dimension) dependent settings planned?
where does the disable vanilla fog disable the fog in code?
