Problem with long RasPi camera cable
Ive been having trrouble with my camera - I want to use the camera port because as I understand it, it can use hardware to avoid too much CPU load.
The trouble is, to have the camera at the front corner where I want it, it would seem a long cable is my problem - with same settings and short cable I can get the video feed, however with the longer cable needed for the corner location, I cant get an image using same settings.
After days of frustration, changing settings etc., some research identitifd that long acbles have too much line loss.
Funny thing is that is was working fine for months, then stopped. Maybe the FFC was damaged where is goes through the cover, so I replaced the cable.
Does anyone know a solution/workaround?
