How to fix error code 134 when launching Red Dead Redemption 2 from Epic Games Store

I keep getting this error 134 code. there is no fix for this.

no i sent rockstar a message, hopefully, they can fix it EPIC can't do anything , they told me so. Heroic , not so really either. So it is a ROCKSTAR issue only

rockstar is not going to do anything, their game works fine with Epic which is what they support the thread I linked solves the problem

how do i fix it? backup your prefix folder delete the original remove the fix.bat launche the game and let it re-create the prefix and re-install the rockstar launcher Alright, i deleted the PREFIX, let me see if the game works or not same error, boss man code error 134

read the first message in that thread, not the last one, it explains the steps you have to: - delete the prefix folder if it already exists - launch the game (it should install the rockstar launcher) - sign in and close it - set the fix.bat file as explained there in the thread (in the same folder as the PlayRDR2.exe file, and update the content of the fix.bat, replace the PlayGTAV.exe with PlayRDR2.exe) - launch the game the rockstar launcher should show up first, and after a few seconds the game should start, if you get the 134 error before seeing the rockstar launcher main screen, something is wrong with the fix.bat file to double check, the fix.bat file has to point to the launcher's .exe file inside the prefix, some users reported they had to change the path there to make it match their system's directories

Alright, the fix.bat made it work once again!!! it was a easy fix!
